Tracy McKenna, Chief Party Officer
Tracy McKenna is a Colorado native who grew up in Summit County and now lives in Golden. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and a former ballet dancer, Tracy found her passion for creating meaningful experiences through event planning for nonprofit organizations.
She began her career in event planning more than 20 years ago with the San Francisco Ballet and has been producing events ever since. After returning to Colorado, Tracy worked as a contract event planner for the Denver Art Museum, helping support the opening of the museum’s iconic Hamilton Building. She later spent more than eight years at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, where she planned fundraising and donor stewardship events
for the Development Department.
In 2015, Tracy founded Lyon Events, a boutique event planning company dedicated exclusively to serving nonprofit organizations.
