Tracy McKenna, Chief Party Officer
Tracy McKenna is a Colorado native who grew up in Summit County and currently lives in Golden. She is a CU Boulder graduate and former ballet dancer, which is what brought her to her current career as an event planner for non-profit organizations. Her first job in event planning was more than 20 years ago at the San Francisco Ballet and she has been planning events ever since.
When she first moved back to Colorado, she worked for the Denver Art Museum as a contract event planner to help open their new Hamilton Building. She then spent more than 8 years at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science planning all of the fundraising and stewardship events for their Development Department.
In 2015, she decided to go out on her own and founded Lyon Events, an event planning company that caters exclusively to non-profits.
